[ # ] Anthony Daly takes over in Dublin and Cork still in chaos
December 5th, 2008

Dublin hurling got the boost it needed when Anthony Daly was picked as the new manager. Hopefully they’ll claim a big scalp or two next year.

Not much you can say about the Cork saga. It still drags on. With the moratorium on squad training for a couple of months it’ll be January before we really see it kick off again. The Waterford Crystal tournament starts in early January and it’ll be very interesting to see what team Cork field, if any.

Ballyhale proved themselves the kingpins of Leinster, once they have all their stars on board. John Mullane got his reward for his battling efforts with Waterford as De le Salle have swept to county and provincial titles. Should be a great battle to the club title with Portumna there aswell.

The league fixtures for 2009 are out, i’ll get them up shortly.
