Bizarre moment identical twins get engaged to the same bloke – and they all sleep in one, giant bed
IDENTICAL twins Anna and Lucy got engaged to their long time shared boyfriend on a romantic park picnic complete with Champagne.
The "world's most identical twins" are both in a relationship with fiance Ben Byrne, with the trio all sleeping in a supersized bed at night.
Anna and Lucy Decinque, from Australia, shared the intimate moment with their partner Ben.
The twins said: "We're like the luckiest twins in the world. We share a man that totally loves us for who we are. Ben is our hero. He's our Prince Charming."
Ben popped the question by presenting the women with a small box each.
He said: "So I got you a little something."
From each box he pulled out a ring that he put on the women's ring finger one at a time.
The twins were wowed by the large engagement rings and noted that each ring had three bands.
Lucy said: "Is there three in there?"
To which the joint-fiance replied: "Well that can symbolise the three of us."
The twin gushed, announcing in unison: "We love them!"
Ben said: "Anna you mean the world to me and I want to spend my life with you and Lucy you mean the world to me and I want to spend my life with you too. I love you, I love you both."
Despite the grand gesture, the threesome were aware that their dream wedding would be tricky as Australia doesn't allow three people to get married.
Ben said: "I know that we can't legally get married here. This is the best I can do."
The twins said: "I think we can get married in Malaysia, Indonesia, upper parts of America."
To which Ben responded: "I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy."
The trio are now planning on taking their relationship to the next level – and are planning on starting a family.
Anna and Lucy said they plan to use IVF to ensure they get pregnant at the same time.
Dismissing the negative comments they’ve received, Lucy said: "It's not really weird to us.
“We have one boyfriend and all three of us share the same bed.
"For guys, in their hearts and dreams, they want two girlfriends.
"We have the same taste in everything, so obviously we're going to like the same boy too…
"If I got pregnant Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight away – because our bodies need to be the same.
"We would try to make that happen, definitely.”
