I went to the Shein pop-up store in Birmingham, I had to queue for ages to get in & it was nothing like I expected | The Sun
SHEIN fans have been rushing to Birmingham this weekend in a bid to visit the store’s UK pop-up store.
And one shopper has shared her very honest review of the experience, admitting that it might not be as you expected.
TikTok user Abbie Sanders took her followers on a tour of the store in the city’s Bullring shopping centre.
But before she could even enter, Abbie had to first make it through the queue.
In her video, which has since amassed almost 280,000 views, Abbie explains: “I waited about 30 minutes so it’s quite a long queue but once you get in there it looks gorgeous.”
While Abbie was seriously impressed with the appearance of the store, she admitted that it was far smaller than she had expected.

“It is a very very small shop so there’s only two pieces of clothing of each pilot line,” she explains.
“You always have to ask a staff member for your size if it’s not already out.”
The Shein fan was impressed by the amount on offer and even picked up a few bits but admitted she preferred shopping online.
“They sold casual clothes, going out clothes, summer clothes and even bikinis,” she says.

“I did manage to find a few things that I liked and I did buy them but I’d say definitely stick to the online shop because you can’t use any of the discounts in store only online.”
The Shein pop-up opened to the public on Friday and will be closing today at 7pm, so Shein fans will have to be quick if they want to go for themselves!
