I'm a foodie, there's lots of items you can freeze that you had NO idea about & they will save you money | The Sun

A FOODIE has shared how there are several kitchen staples that can be stored in the freezer that you had no idea about.

And she revealed that the best part of her nifty trick was that you could save major money, as it means you can buy in bulk without worrying that the products will go off.

In a TikTok video titled ‘Things you can freeze that you might not know you could freeze,’ Steph Gigliotti lifted the lid on everything – from flour to cheese.

Steph, whose profile is @stephgigliotti28, began by picking up her first food product – some butter.

“You can freeze butter, you can just throw this whole container right in your freezer, just like this.

“And then when you’re ready to thaw it, you can put it in the fridge overnight or just leave it out on the countertop.”

Steph continued: “You can freeze grated cheese.

“This is a great way to save money.”

While she said flour was also great when stored in the freezer.

The same could be said for whipping cream, or buttermilk,

Steph also said that she freezes her bread for up to three months – something many have caught onto in the past – as well as various pre-prepared sauces for up to six.
