Matalan shoppers are going wild for glam white swimming costumes scanning for 10p – but there’s a serious catch | The Sun
WITH summer holidays on lots of people’s agendas over the next couple of months, plenty have got their eyes peeled for bargain swimwear.
And one savvy shopper revealed she’s found just the thing after she spotted a cheap swimsuit in Matalan that scanned for just 10p.
But the bargain hunter was quick to explain that the white one-piece wasn’t for everyone – as it was targeted specifically at brides to be.
The lady was browsing her local Matalan store when she came across the hen party range that had mega discounts.
Alongside a snap of the glam white cossie emblazoned with a simple gold ‘bride’ on the front, she revealed the crazily cheap price tag.
She wrote: “For any upcoming brides out there, there are some fab bargains in Matalan clearance store.”

As lots of brides-to-be and their bridal parties tagged one another in the social media post, others said they were running to see if they could find one.
The shopper then told the other members of Facebook group Extreme Coupon and Bargains UK that it wasn’t just the swimming costume’s price that had been majorly slashed.
Attaching snaps of the other things she found, the woman went through them one by one, before revealing how much they were selling for.
First up, there were two different types of bikini bottoms flying off shelves for 50p each.

The first matched the swimming costume and were white in colour with the gold writing printed across the bum.
Meanwhile, they also had some for the bridesmaids to wear, with a black pair, which said ‘Bride Squad’ on them.
Other hen party and wedding day essentials included a cream Bride to Be robe – perfect for photo opportunities and getting ready in.
The lady revealed: “Bride to be robe – £3.”
While the final bride bargain were two different sets of nightwear – both costing just a £1.
One pyjama top was a baby pink shade with Team Bride. While another was for the bride-to-be to wear herself.
As soon as people saw the full selection, they were quick to comment.
One person wrote: “We need to go!”
