A FATHER has divided opinion after finding a clever way to deal with his daughter’s stubborn tantrum.
Every parent knows what it’s like to try and get a child to cooperate with them. From eating their vegetables to simply keeping their socks on right, it’s a constant struggle.
And instead of trying to reason with his daughter, one father took on a no-nonsense approach to dealing with a little tantrum.
In a clip that’s gone viral online, the dad can be seen picking up his two-year-old daughter and carrying her like a shopping bag.
He took this step after it appeared he tried to get her to stand up, but she refused.
The video, filmed by the mother of the child in Quebec, Canada in 2018, shows him carrying a set of plastic bags in one hand and his daughter in the other as he makes his way to the house.

The little girl did not protest her dad’s clever method to get her inside.
But the scene has left many divided over whether this was the right thing to do.
Some said they “don’t find it funny at all,” while others attacked the parenting style, saying they couldn’t “believe he would do that”.
Others found the event “sweet, relatable and funny” and one person went as far as to say: “Well done, Dad! The patience and tolerance he must have had!”

While another shared: “I would leave the child there. Kids now days are spoiled”.
At the time that the clip was filmed, the mother of the girl said she had been doing funny things that made them laugh.
“I took this video from home of my boyfriend and our daughter, Juliette,” the mum explained. “He was getting back from work and her from the kindergarten.
“She is a little girl who loves to laugh and make other laughs.
“What's even funnier is that she is more than 3-feet-tall and over 37 pounds heavy and the jacket didn't break.
“She often does stuff like this and this is just how we love her.”
