Savvy shoppers share their massive make-up hauls as Sainsbury’s slashes prices of Rimmel and MaxFactor to just £1.50
NOW that the lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease in the UK, we've found ourselves reaching for our make-up bags for the first time in MONTHS.
And if you fancy getting yourself back into the swing of things with some new make-up, then Sainsbury's is the place to go.
As part of their summer clearance sales, the supermarket has slashed the price of Rimmel and MaxFactor make-up to just £1.50.
Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper revealed that Rimmel's Lasting Radiance foundation – which would normally set you back a tenner – had been reduced to a fraction of the price.
Alerting the group's thousands of members to the savings, she wrote: "Sainsbury's, down to £1.50!"
Sharing a photo of her epic haul, another thrifty shopper revealed how she'd bagged five foundations (which would normally cost £10 each), four mascaras, three eyeliners, two powders AND a primer all for just £22.50. Mind = blown.
What's more, a third bargain-hunter shared her impressive Max Factor haul in the group too.
Having bagged a loose powder, eyeshadow palette and highlighter in the sale, she added: "Sainsbury’s had these in the sale £1.50 each – should have been a total of £35!"
But before we all go rushing to make an order online, these bargain prices appear to only be in selected stores.
In other words, you can find us raiding every Sainsbury's store within a five mile radius…
For more beauty bargains, Tesco has a mega beauty sale on with make-up brushes from just 44p.
And beauty fans are loving Aldi’s new makeup range saying they’re bargain dupes for designers like Nars and Urban Decay.
Plus Boots has slashed 30% off selected Fenty Beauty products but you’ll need to be quick.
