Takeaway pizza driver in hysterics by customer’s warning on delivery instructions

A TAKEAWAY pizza driver was left in hysterics at a note a customer left in the delivery instructions.

Food delivery service Hartlepool Eats shared a photo of the order, which was for a 12 inch Americana hot with garlic sauce and a portion of pizza top chips.

The customer had told the driver: "Just a heads up pal, me dogs a f***ing rarf n barks at nowt."

It was shared on Facebook with the caption: "I love the richness of Hartlepool vocabulary” – and has clearly gone down well with social media users.

One person wrote: “This is why I love Hartlepool.”

Others vowed to leave their own funny delivery notes for their drivers to keep them entertained on their shifts, according to Gazette Live reports.

The comical note has racked up more than 300 shares and 200 comments.

This follows a woman leaving a note asking to be cheered up when she ordered a takeaway and she ended up getting a guy’s number out of it.

She shared a screenshot of the request message she added to her food order, which said: “Extra peppers and onions I’m so rough please.

“A wee happy note to cheer me up.”

She was not expecting to get her food sent with a note saying “give me a text and I’ll cheer you up”, along with a guy’s mobile number.
