Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the youngest children of Kate Middleton and Prince William, will be turning five and two respectively, and it's believed the Queen, 93, will be celebrating with them via a video conferencing call.

Under normal circumstances,  the Queen would be with her great-grandchildren on each of their birthdays, but as the country is in lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Royals have been forced to find alternate methods.

According to Mirror, the youngsters, along with their big brother Prince George, have already been sending 'chatty videos' to keep in touch with their great-grandmother, who they affectionately call 'Gan Gan'.

They have also been chatting with their grandad Prince Charles, who is currently in Scotland, and it's said Charlotte and George enjoy talking to their grandfather, 71,  about anything from animals to flowers.

Speaking on the ROYALS podcast, Royal expert Angela Mollard said: "So, within a week and a bit of each other two of them will be having birthdays.

"Obviously, they won’t be able to have friends over.

"Knowing Kate, she would have a whole schedule of party type things to do – remember her parents run a party planning company."

She continued: "I imagine Carole Middleton, because she can’t see the children, has got all these things sorted.

"Of course, they still have plenty of staff to make birthday cakes and help construct party poppers.

"I don’t think the poor Cambridge children will be doing without.
