50 Cent Accuses SlowBucks of Abusing Ashanti’s Sister After She Shows Heavy Injuries

Kenashia ‘Shia’ Douglas shares on her Instagram account a video that includes images of her covered in blood with her teeth broken to celebrate her 31st birthday.

AceShowbiz50 Cent has reignited his beef with hip-hop entertainer Slowbucks. It all started after Ashanti‘s sister, Kenashia “Shia” Douglas, shared on Instagram a video of her terrifying injuries from an abusive relationship to celebrate her 31st birthday.

In the video, she put all the transformative moments in her life, from the day she was born until she turned 31. However, after the one-minute mark, things took a darker turn. Images of her sporting a black eye and a bloody face with her teeth broken flashed on the screen as she talked about how one’s experiences change as they grow older.

“Our experiences begin to shape our realities. Here, we learn about pain, isolation, sacrifice and heartache,” she said in voiceover. “These experiences though, no matter how bad, how painful, how ugly, how dark, how beautiful, are all threads that together wove our story and shape our purpose. They reignite our passion and remind us of who we are divinely meant to be.”

Shia didn’t name names in her clip, prompting people to speculate that the abuse was done by her former fiance Slowbucks. Among those who think so is Fiddy, who unsurprisingly didn’t keep his opinion to himself. The “Power” star shared the video on his own account and added in the caption, “yo what’s wrong wit you boy, hitting that girl like that.”

Slowbucks has yet to respond to Fiddy.

Slowbucks and Shia dated for a few years before getting engaged in 2016. In an interview, she gushed over how strong their relationship was even after the industry drama, including his beef with Fiddy. “I don’t think that any real woman would let anything hinder their relationship,” she said at the time. “If it’s a real relationship and the love and everything in between is authentic, then nothing can hinder your relationship. Only death.”

It’s unknown when Slowbucks and Shia called it quits, though some believe that it was between 2018-2019.

Steph McGovern: Have I Got News For You host speaks out as format divides BBC viewers

Steph McGovern returned to host Have I Got New For You yesterday, as it launched its 59th series from the stars’ homes. The ex BBC Breakfast regular defended the programme, as it attempted something different due to coronavirus social-distancing rules.

I think it‘s great that they tried something different to keep it on air

Steph McGovern

The hugely-popular BBC quiz show was back on screens despite the stars being unable to shoot in the studio, and it certainly split opinion.

Due to the current coronavirus lockdown, team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop, and the presenter, 37, filmed individually from rooms in their houses.

They were joined by Miles Jupp and journalist Helen Lewis, and only their heads could be seen over a still of the famous set.

It was the first time HIGNFY had tried anything like that and it certainly sparked a response.

  • James Martin: Saturday Morning chef addresses marriage and kids regret

However, today Steph said it was great bosses “tried something different to keep it on air”.

The mother-of-one spoke out in view of her 396,000 followers, as she quipped about her new base.

“Am in my kitchen,” she started. “Or as I like to call it now, Television Centre.”

“Thanks for messages abt HIGNFY. It’s been going 30yrs with same format so I think it’s great that @HatTrickProd @electric_robin tried something different to keep it on air.”

Steph signed off by adding: “It was weird but so is life at the mo.”(sic)

HIGNFY was soon trending on the micro-blogging site as it aired, with many remarking on the usual edition.

One user remarked: “Oh my God. Socially distanced #HIGNFY. This is one of the most surreal things I’ve seen so far.”

“This is going to be bl**dy weird when the repeats come on Dave in 5 years time… #HIGNFY,” another echoed.

Some loved it despite the limitations. “Can’t remember the last time I laughed so much watching #HIGNFY. Surreal & funny watch,” a tweet stated.

One fan wrote: “This is the most surreal episode of Have I Got News For You I’ve ever watched (and I’ve watched it for decades!). Odd without the studio audience but as topical and on point as ever! #HIGNFY.”

But others criticised the offering: “You’ll struggle to watch anything more excruciatingly awful in your lifetime than tonight’s #HIGNFY.”

Piers Morgan agreed: “My village mates’ ZOOM session earlier this evening was a lot funnier than this. #HIGNFY.”

  • Alex Scott: The One Show star shares shares rare love life admission

Steph is well-versed in hosting TV from her living room, after bringing the launch of her self-titled show forward.

The star left BBC Breakfast last year, welcomed a daughter before confirming she had landed her own programme.

And she hosted The Steph Show for the first time on Monday, with it going out live, with very few issues.

Have I Got News For You returns Friday at 8.30pm on BBC One.

The Labour leadership result is even more important now than it was before the pandemic

Yes, the Labour leadership announcement is still going ahead this weekend. And the result matters even more now than it did before the coronavirus outbreak.

It’s hard to believe that, just a few months ago, Brexit dominated the headlines.

Since the 2016 referendum, we’ve had three prime ministers, two general elections and a lot of political friction. But the United Kingdom left the European Union at 11 pm on 31 January 2020.

This led Jeremy Corbyn to announce that he is stepping down from being the Labour party leader. The race has been on to find his replacement ever since. Lisa Nandy, Keir Starmer and Rebecca Long-Bailey are the three candidates left in the running. Despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the results will still be delivered and a new leader announced on Saturday 4 April.

It’s important to recognise that now, perhaps more than ever, the election of a new Labour leader is crucial. This is going to be the person who holds Boris Johnson and his government to account while this pandemic plays out – which we know is going to be for quite a while.

They will ask what’s being done for domestic abuse victims, following news that Refuge reported a 65% increase in calls to its helpline last Saturday compared with the same day the previous week. And they will seek answers on what support is in place for people who have lost their jobs and homes.

And once the pandemic subsides, the leader will be a pivotal figure in the nation getting back on its feet to create a new “normal”. Oh, and there are still Brexit negotiations to be sorted out.

It could also be the first time in history that a woman is elected Labour party leader.

So, with all this in mind, here’s everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s results.

Is a new Labour leader still being elected?

Yes. The polls have now closed on Labour’s leadership election, and the result will be announced via a press release at 10:45 am on Saturday morning. The special party conference has of course been cancelled because of coronavirus. A new leader and deputy leader will both be named.

All three leadership candidates have been asked to pre-record a victory speech and the winner’s will be sent out for the public to watch at home. The winner will then immediately take over from Jeremy Corbyn.

Who will win the Labour leadership?

Lisa Nandy

Nandy wants to shake up Labour and has said it must “change or die”. Originally considered a long shot, she has received support from the GMB and the Jewish Labour Movement.

Speaking to Stylist earlier this year, the Wigan MP said she wanted to see a wealth tax raise to bring them in line with income taxes and help properly fund a different settlement on the NHS. She also wants to create a proper definition of what constitutes an affordable home. And she wants us to be a nation that looks after and supports people’s mental health with no stigma around asking for help.

Read the full interview here.

Keir Starmer

Sir Starmer is the shadow Brexit secretary and MP for Holborn and St Pancras. According to YouGov polls, he is also the frontrunner in the labour leadership race.

Speaking to Stylist earlier this year, Starmer said that he would lead the party with a strong team of women, explaining: “I’m not doing this for them – I’m doing it with them.” He also said the government needs to do a lot of cross-party work to address the Domestic Abuse Bill. And he said the problem about the future of the NHS can only be solved by integrating health with social care and mental health care.

Read the full interview here.

Rebecca Long-Bailey

Corbyn supporter and left-winger Long-Bailey is the MP for Salford and Eccles and shadow business secretary. She is backed by Labour’s left campaign group Momentum, trade union Unite the Union and senior Labour figures including Ian Lavery and John McDonnell.

Long-Bailey said the party needs a “proud socialist leader” driven by their principles and “unwavering determination”. She has voiced her unequivocal support for transgender women. And she recently wrote an opinion piece saying the NHS “needs more support through increased funding and kicking out the privatisers”. She also said the NHS model works and “we should look to apply it to more of the challenges of our time”.

Long-Bailey was unavailable for interview with Stylist.

What about the new deputy leadership results?

A new deputy leader will also replace Tom Watson after Saturday’s result. Angela Rayner is favourite to win, and she is running against Dawn Butler, Rosena Allin-Khan (who is also currently working as an NHS doctor), Richard Burgon and Ian Murray.

The new leader and deputy probably never thought they’d inherit a pandemic. It’s the ultimate test for any member of parliament right now. That’s why, even though it’s exhausting to keep up with the news at this time, it’s important we keep a close eye on what happens with this result.

Kylie Jenner Gets Candid About What She Doesn’t Want Her Partner to Do During Sex

As part of the #DoYourPartChallenge, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star plays an old game of ‘Would You Rather?’ with her best friend Stassie Karanikolaou on Instagram Live.

AceShowbizKylie Jenner has made it clear about what she didn’t want her partner to do during sex. In a new Instagram Live, the Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed she couldn’t bear being in an intimate moment with someone who let out a “weird accent.”

On Friday, March 3, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star joined her best friend Stassie Karanikolaou in a “Would You Rather?” game. Responding to a fan asking her if she would “rather have your partner have a weird accent when having sex or be completely silent,” she replied while giggling, “I would rather he be completely silent.”

Kylie’s answer prompted Stassie to express her disbelief, “Really?” In response, the 22-year-old TV personality exclaimed, “Absolutely! I could not handle the weird accent.” She, however, was quick to offer an explanation by stating, “Unless he had a weird accent, like naturally. If he had an accent, fine.”

“If he didn’t have an accent and then when we’re intimate, he starts talking in a weird accent … absolutely not,” the ex-girlfriend of Travis Scott (II) went on. Her candid admission apparently amused Stassie who was not able to hide her laughter when she called the fan’s question a “good one.”

Intimate talk aside, Kylie also discussed about how she prepared her 2-year-old daughter Stormi for self-isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic. In an attempt to “keep her entertained,” the mother of one admitted she has “bought her every single outdoor Troll you could imagine. She has bouncy houses out there. Water toys. She has been in the pool every day.”

“I got a slip n slide but it’s not here yet though. I got everything. She has been outside every day just living her best life,” the younger sister of Kendall Jenner continued, noting that her only child with Travis “has no idea what is going on, it’s amazing.”

Kylie joined Stassie in the latter’s Instagram Live show as a part of #DoYourPartChallenge. In partnership with DoorDash, every view the pair got for their Live show will translate into one meal for those in need during the COVID-19 crisis.

Selena Gomez Reveals She's Bipolar During IG Chat with Miley Cyrus

The pop star said she also recognized symptoms in her own family members.

Selena Gomez opened up about being bipolar for the first time on Friday.

During an Instagram Live chat for Miley Cyrus’ "Bright Minded" show, the singer, 27, revealed she was diagnosed with the mental health condition after a recent visit to McLean’s Hospital, which she described as "one of the best mental hospitals in the world."

“After years of going through a lot of different things, I realized that I was bipolar," she confessed to her fellow pop star. "So when I got to know more information, it actually helps me. It doesn’t scare me once I know it. I think people get scared of that."

Gomez said she recognized the symptoms in her own family members, but it was taboo to talk about such things growing up.

"I’m from Texas. It’s not known to talk about your mental health," she explained. "You’ve got to seem cool, and then I see anger built up in teenagers and young adults because they are wanting that so badly."

Educating herself about the diagnosis has helped her find some solace, according to the "It Ain’t Me" singer.

"I wanted to know everything about it, and it took the fear away," she said, before recalling a personal anecdote for Miley.

"When I was younger, I was scared of thunderstorms and my mom bought me all these books on thunderstorms and she was like, ‘The more you educate yourself on this, the more that you’re not going to be afraid.’ It completely worked. That’s something that helps me big time."

Bipolar disorder is defined as "a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings which can include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression)," according to the Mayo Clinic.

Gomez has been very open about her mental health in the past, as she sought treatment for anxiety and depression in 2016.

"Everything I cared about, I stopped caring about. I came out, and it felt like, ‘OK, I can only go forward,’" she told InStyle about the treatment. "And there are still days. I go to therapy. I believe in that and talking about where you are. But I’m in a really, really healthy place."

For now, Selena is coping with simple measures.

"I think talking through what you’re feeling is extremely helpful," she told Miley during the show. "Sometimes I have to feel it, sometimes I’ve got to cry it out and release it, and just take a deep breath."

Meghan Markle Reportedly ALREADY Going Full Hollywood Diva

From everything we’ve seen over the past few weeks, Meghan Markle is clearly eager to get her acting career back on track. She and Prince Harry left their position as Royals, moved to Canada, and moved AGAIN to Los Angeles — with a baby, in the middle of a pandemic no less — all in just a matter of 3 months.

But don’t mistake that eagerness for desperation. No, quite the opposite, according to a source spilling to DailyMail.com on Friday.

Apparently Meghan already has the faking it til you make it part down, as the Duchess is already being a total diva! When it comes to the offers flooding in to her team, the Hollywood insider claims “she thinks the majority of them are cheesy and beneath her.”

The source says Meg already knows the type of project she wants to do; she’s “been telling her agents that she wants Ava DuVernay involved, and that they need to find the right script.”

Well, those seem like a perfectly reasonable demands — for someone who is in demand.

While Meghan may be an internationally famous face now, that hasn’t necessarily created a proportionate buzz for her when it comes to casting. After all her biggest role is like the fourth lead on a USA Network show. No one even knows who watches those!

The insider spells out the disconnect between Meghan’s expectations and reality, saying:

“Meghan is worried that she won’t be taken seriously as an actress. Meghan has made it clear to her team that she will only work with A-list directors, but she doesn’t understand that this doesn’t necessarily mean they want to work with her. This could end up being a very lengthy and tedious process because Meghan wants to control every aspect of whatever project she ends up doing.”

Funnily enough her pickiness could result in her having to do something many artists would consider beneath them: a commercial!

The source says Meghan and Harry “are getting lucrative offers from Japan” — ones which could solve their money woes:

“One commercial could pay for their entire security team for the year.”

But surely Meghan must be turning her nose up at the idea of foreign commercials, right? We mean, talk about “cheesy,” we’ve seen the commercials Leonardo DiCaprio and other A-listers have done.

    But according to this insider…

“Meghan likes the idea that only the creme de la creme of actors are offered this type of work. She knows they need the money and is not entirely opposed to the idea.”

Wow. If that’s true we are actually pretty surprised she’s not holding out for one of those artistically fulfilling, box office friendly but still critically challenging movies.

What do YOU think of Meghan’s new attitude? Is she being entitled? Or just exuding the right amount of confidence for Hollywood??
