TV presenter Laura Hamilton filmed herself on the way to London to get a COVID test today, sharing footage on her Instagram account from the back seat of a taxi. The A Place in the Sun star, who travels abroad for work, needed a test in order to fly to Cyprus to film scenes for the new series of the Channel 4 property show.

“Time for another COVID TEST! #travelsafe,” the 38-year-old star captioned a video, which she shared with her 104,000 followers.

In the footage, Laura spoke directly to her fans via social media and explained that she had to get tested 72 hours before traveling to the Mediterranean country.

The Channel 4 star, who was in Greece last month and Italy a week ago, also informed fans that she had been tested for the virus on a previous occasion.

However, halfway through talking, the TV host realised that she was wearing the face covering upside-down.

“Good morning. I am in a taxi on my way to London to have a COVID test because this weekend I am flying to Cyprus and in order to get into Cyprus you have to have a test 72 hours before you get there,” Laura started.

The mum-of-two went on: “Not sure if you’ve had one of these tests, they are not the nicest of tests, but it’s got to be done.”

“I had it a couple of weeks ago when I traveled to Italy…” she added.

Placing one hand on her face to adjust her mask, the popular presenter noticed her error.

“I think I’ve got it on upside down.

“Anyway, the main thing is I’m wearing a mask.”
