Ex BBC Breakfast presenter Bill Turnbull, 64, has shared a rare picture of himself as he gave fans an insight into his lockdown antics on Twitter today. The Classic FM host was seen holding his hands on his hips as he sported a blue top and rolled up trousers while stood in a pond.
In view of his 98,000 Twitter followers, he joked: “Call the police. I may be suffering from lockdown madness.”
Many of his fans flocked to his post to comment, with the majority praising his rare upload.
However, one person asked: “You got boobs?”
He replied: “Mammary muscles, Audrey.”

Another fan pointed out that Gynaecomastia can be a common medical problem in patients receiving treatment for prostate cancer.
The presenter was diagnosed with the disease in 2017 and is undergoing a number of treatments to reduce the symptoms.
Defending the host, another Twitter user wrote: “To all the people casually mocking Bill, Gynaecomastia (or male breast growth) is a side effect of some prostate cancer treatments which lower your testosterone levels & can affect the overall balance of testosterone/oestrogen.”
Bill replied: “Thank you! Though tbh I had ‘t really noticed.”(sic)
Cancer Research UK say that some hormone treatments for prostate cancer can cause swelling (gynaecomastia) and tenderness.
They state: “Hormones occur naturally in your body. They control the growth and activity of normal cells.
“Testosterone is a male hormone mainly made by the testicles.
“Prostate cancer usually depends on testosterone to grow.”

There is no suggestion Bill’s treatment is linked to Gynaecomastia.
Elsewhere, BBC Breakfast star Louise Minchin was one of many who complimented Bill’s appearance.
“Lovely to see you looking so well x,” she wrote.
Chef Phil Vickery added: “Blimey William, you only look 32!!!!”
Phil is currently on a treatment called Radium 223, a mildly radioactive form of the metal radium.
He recently spoke of the changes he has made to his diet and how his treatment affects his mood.

“It was working very well for five months, now it is working sort of okay,” he told The Mirror.
“I feel very well. I’m pretty much not eating meat or dairy.
“I did a lot of research and it comes up time and time again that a wholefood, plant-based diet is good for you.”
He added: “Most of the time, I am absolutely fine, I get hot flushes, they pass.
“But occasionally, I can feel my mood dipping.”
