Bonnaroo 2020 Officially Canceled, 2021 Dates Revealed

After previously being postponed to later this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Bonnaroo 2020 music festival has been called off for the year.

Bonnaroo announced that the festival will now take place during June 17-20, 2021, which marks Bonnaroo’s 20-year anniversary.

“Our annual time together on the Farm is nothing short of magical, but out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of all Bonnaroovians, artists, staff, partners and our community, this is a necessary reality,” Bonnaroo said in a statement.

More information on the lineup, camping and accommodations will be announced later.

2020 Bonnaroo ticket holders can refund their tickets and camping accommodations for Bonnaroo 2021 beginning July 1. The refund window will close on July 31. All ticket holders who do not select the refund option will be automatically rolled over to Bonnaroo 2021.

Bonnaroo said that despite the cancellation, they are planning to hold a weekend-long virtual festival this fall during September 24-27, “including some of our favorite moments from past and present, along with some special surprises.”

The Bonnaroo 2020 lineup included Tool, Lizzo, Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, and Primus, among others.
