Bono Shares ’60 Songs That Saved My Life’ Playlist On 60th Birthday

Marking his 60th birthday, Bono has shared a playlist he calls “60 Songs That Saved My Life.”

“These are some of the songs that saved my life,” Bono wrote on Instagram. “The ones I couldn’t have lived without… the ones that got me from there to here, zero to 60… through all the scrapes, all manner of nuisance, from the serious to the silly… and the joy, mostly joy.”

“I wanted to thank the artists and everyone who helped make them…They were doing the same for me…I am writing a fan letter to accompany each song to try and explain my fascination,” the U2 frontman added.

Bono shared the more than four hour-long playlist on YouTube and Spotify.

The list includes songs by great singers that influenced millions over the decades, including David Bowie, The Beatles, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, Kanye West, Nirvana, Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Billie Eilish and The Pixies.
