EastEnders fans swoon over Peter Beale as he runs through Albert Square naked to impress Ash Panesar

EastEnders had fans swooning during Monday night's episode after character Peter Beale ran around Albert Square naked in an effort to impress Ash Panesar.

Dayle Hudson who plays Peter, put his best foot forward as he wore nothing but a red superhero cape in the sexy scene.

Peter and Ash enjoyed a night out together to help her get over her split from Iqra Ahmed, but it appears the hunk wants more than friendship.

When he suggests a run to cure her hangover, Ash said she wouldn't do it even if he stripped naked.

In the next scene between the pair, Peter took her response literally and bared all for her and the entire Square to see.

He said: "You like? You tempted now? See I'm not all talk."

Stacey Slater, who was passing by, expressed: "I don't have to ask what your super power is," before she and Ash laughed.

Ash shouted at him: "Smile Peter, you're being live-streamed. Keep going, come on."

Soap stars in the news

Fans were left in shock after the sexy scenes were aired and took to Twitter to share their opinions.

One fan said: "eastenders can pay for my therapy after watching that peter scene #Eastenders."

Another added: "Is there an Eastenders after dark? I want to see the naked Peter," with a crying with laughter emoji.

A third expressed: "Peter running around the square naked in Eastenders made my Monday better."

While a fourth Twitter user wrote: "They should have shown that #Eastenders ep after watershed to show Peter in the full nude."

The naked scene comes after Eastenders announced actor James Farrar is set to join the Square as bad boy Zack Hudson.

Speaking about joining the cast of the iconic soap, James said: "I'm thrilled to be joining Eastenders.

"As a born and bred Londoner myself, I can't wait to bring my experience of a place I love and know to such a well-respected long running show, which such iconc characters."

Elaborating on his character, the performer explained: "Zack certainly has a very complicated past and there is a real depth to him that I can't wait to explore."
