According to a Page Six source on Monday night, the model is “begging” her friend Olivia Wilde for forgiveness after getting cozy with her ex! As Perezcious readers know, over the weekend, a video went viral of Emily and Harry kissing on the side of the street in Tokyo, quickly sending the internet into a tailspin. Now that proof of the PDA is all over the place, EmRata has some explaining to do with her pal and the Watermelon Sugar singer’s ex-girlfriend!
From the sounds of it, the brunette beauty may have gotten swept up in the moment and put her friendship with the filmmaker at risk! The insider revealed the My Body author is currently “begging her for forgiveness,” adding:
“This is a betrayal.”

If you didn’t know, Emily and Olivia have been friends for the last few months (at the very least). Just weeks ago, they were photographed attending the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty together. In June, they also made an appearance in the crowd of the One Direction alum’s concert in Paris. Bet the Booksmart director is regretting connecting the duo now!

Harry and Olivia were together for two years before cutting ties in November, so the iCarly alum really swept in and replaced her bestie awfully fast! But this kissing debacle is also straight-up shocking considering how outspoken Emily has been in favor of Olivia, who has been going through it amid Don’t Worry Darling drama and her messy breakup and child custody battle with Jason Sudeikis! Back in November, the 31-year-old mother of one told Elle UK:
“In the past year with Amber Heard and Olivia Wilde and the craziness of putting them in this box as if they’re monsters or witches… There’s nuance to it, but when you see the way that the whole world reacts to women, it’s really hard not to want to go to an extreme side of it. I feel very protective.”

Unfortunately for the High Low podcast host, it doesn’t sound like the House alum is open to hearing an explanation at this time. Moving forward, the Tron: Legacy star is busy focusing on her family and doing her best to ignore the drama, the insider noted:
“She is staying far away from this and taking the high road.”
They continued:
“She is focused on her kids and her work. She wants nothing to do with this mess.”
The 39-year-old also has some more pressing matters to be tending to amid this romance news. Last week, she and her baby daddy were battling it out over where they should raise their children after their nasty breakup. In leaked court docs, the actress accused the Ted Lasso star of litigating her “into debt,” which he has denied.
While she earned a win in the case (with a New York judge denying Jason’s petition to have the east coast state determine the matter as opposed to California), a rep for the director slammed the leak, telling E! News:
“The sealed and private documents that were leaked today are the utmost breach of trust and never intended for public consumption. Olivia only continues to be focused on coparenting her children and moving past this difficult period swiftly and drama free.”
Surprisingly, the co-parents were seen together in good spirits watching their son Otis, 8, play soccer over the weekend. They also share a daughter, Daisy, 6. Seems like her priorities are where they need to be. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see what becomes of this romance to know how sorry Emily really is. Thoughts?
