TOWIE star James "Arg" Argent has opened up on the "uncomfortable" recovery process one week after he underwent life-saving gastric surgery.
The reality TV star was told by doctors he could die without the operation after he reached nearly 27 stone.
After going under the knife for a sleeve gastrectomy, James has been vomiting up blood and has been suffering in pain, but is holding onto the hope it will change his life.
The 33-year-old had his operation in Birmingham last week after alarming warnings prompted him to make a drastic change to his lifestyle.

"It is quite scary when you’re just randomly being sick and you’re seeing lots of blood come up," James told The Sun after the op.
Candidly speaking about the health issues associated with his recovery, the star went on to say that even dealing with gas is a horrible process.
"Just dealing with trapped wind is really uncomfortable," James said.
"They encouraged me to keep burping to get wind out, but you can’t even fart."
James’s gastric surgery cost £10,000 and saw surgeons remove some of his stomach.
Afterwards, he was advised his scars will take about six weeks to heal.
The TV star is not able to do strenuous exercise or eat solid food during that period, but he will be slipping back into the swimming pool as soon as he can.
The Essex-born TV personality is determined to lose 11 stone to reach his goal weight of 16 stone over the next year and a half.
