Jodie Marsh says her mum was ‘thrown out of hospital’ to die of cancer at home ‘because of coronavirus’
Jodie Marsh has heartbreakingly claimed her mother was asked to leave hospital to “die from cancer” because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 41 year old former glamour model said her mother Kristina has “the most aggressive cancer her consultant has ever seen” but was asked to leave hospital and return in eight weeks time.
Jodie made the shocking revelation as she replied to a tweet from charity Balls to Cancer, which raises awareness of male cancers.
The tweet read: “We cannot say it enough. THE NHS IS OPEN please do not sit at home with any cancer symptoms, get to speak to your doctor or visit A & E.

Jodie replied to the tweet with: “Not quite true. My mum was basically turfed out of hospital and told “come back in 8 weeks” even though she has the most aggressive growing cancer her consultant had ever seen.
“Thrown out of hospital because of Covid. No treatment. She’s dying at home. No word from hospital”.
Jodie’s heartbreaking revelation was met with messages of sympathy from fans.
One wrote: “I'm so sorry Jodie, bless your heart. Sending you all loads of love xxx”.
Another follower said: “So sorry to hear this,” followed by a red heart emoji.
And a third person wrote: “Sending your Mum and Family best wishes x”.
Meanwhile, another fan suggested her mother tried some alternative treatments including cannabis oil, to which Jodie replied: “We’ve already done/are doing both. Her cancer is so aggressive. We’ve been told what treatment she needs but hospital won’t see her til June. Sickening x”. [sic]

In a series of other posts on her Twitter, Jodie admitted she and her family are “so lost” as her mother is “fading fast” as she asked singer Barry Manilow for a personalised video to wish her mother “well”.
Jodie wrote: “hi there, it’s a big ask I know but my mum is fading fast with terminal cancer & she & I saw Barry live together in the UK at least 30 times over the years. She loves him. Is there any chance of getting a 10 second video from Barry for her to wish her well please?” [sic]
Fans then flocked to urge Barry to honour Jodie’s mum’s wish as they replied to the tweet.
One wrote: “I really hope that you hear from Barry. Sending your mum my best wishes and hope you and your dad are holding up through it all x x x”.
And another said: “Jodie, I so hope you get your wish.. Come on, Barry.”
