Kate Ferdinand ‘considers filming reality TV documentary about her life as a new mum’

Kate Ferdinand has reportedly been thinking about doing a TV documentary about becoming a mum.

The 29 year old, who announced she's expecting her first child with husband Rio in an adorable video, is said to be hoping to work with the BBC to film the one-off reality series as they previously handled Rio and Kate: Becoming a Stepfamily.

While the mum-to-be has her work cut out of for her with the likes of Ferne McCann's First Time Mum and Sam Faiers' The Mummy Diaries on TV, the star is said to want to take an educational spin on her own documentary.

An insider told heat magazine: "She doesn't want to have a showbiz career that gets in the way of her family life, but she is considering a one-off documentary series about her life as a parent."

Kate, who recently flaunted her blossoming baby bump in workout gear, continued: "It's a very high-end production company that has pitched the idea and it's going to be different to the other mummy reality shows out there.

"Kate has said that, if she does do something, she wants it to be educational like she did with the BBC. She would love to work with them again."

It comes as fans of the star recently speculated that she is expecting a baby girl after she posted a stunning snap of herself cradling her blossoming baby bump.

The former TOWIE star looked gorgeous as she wore a black midi dress paired with a sleeveless long blazer on top.

Taking to Instagram to share the picture, the TV personality teamed the look with a pair of grey and black trainers as she held onto a black shoulder bag.

Keeping her makeup to a minimum, the star opted to wear a light shade of pink lipstick alongside some eyeliner and mascara.

The blonde beauty styled her mane down into loose waves as she smiled for the photo, which was captioned: "Girls day yesterday," alongside a red heart emoji.

Her 41 year old husband Rio was quick to comment on the stunning snap as he immediately wrote: "Okaaaaaaay!" followed by a red heart emoji.

While many of the star's 1.3million followers gushed over her outfit, others couldn't help but wonder whether her caption meant she's going to have a baby girl.

One person wrote: "Does that mean she’s having a girl ??? And you look gorj," [sic] followed by a black heart emoji.

Another said: "I think she’s having a girl too! Must be a hint x," while a third chimed: "Is that a hint for a girl," with a winking emoji, smiling emoji and a pink heart emoji.
