Kerry Katona told new magazine that Katie Price "made Peter Andre" who he is and reinvigorated his career.

Kerry says Katie and Peter’s romance in the I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle back in 2004 helped revive Peter’s career.

The pair fell for each other on the jungle show and married in 2005. They went on to welcome children Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, before splitting in 2009.

Peter, 47, is now happily married to wife Emily, with whom he shares son Theo and daughter Amelia.

Katie, 42, meanwhile, is dating new man Carl Woods, 31, with the pair already trying for a baby.

However, Kerry thinks Kate and Peter are the UK’s answer to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

In her latest column in new magazine , Kerry wrote: “For me, it’s always gonna be Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, so I loved seeing them reunite – albeit on Zoom – for a recent movie read through.

“I’m never gonna stop wishing they’d get back together – it’s the old romantic in me!

“Looking back at their life, I think Jen made Brad who he was. The only comparison I can think of over here is Katie Price and Peter Andre.

“I adore them both, but there’s no question being with Kate in the jungle helped reinvigorate Pete’s career and made him who he is today.

“Is it weird to call Pete and Kate the British Brad and Jen? Probably – I think they’re both very happy as they are with their lovely partners – whereas I think everyone would love Bradifer to give it another shot!”

While Kerry may want Brad and Jen to reunite, she is loved up herself with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

The mum-of-five recently appeared on Loose Women alongside Ryan and she told the ladies how the way her relationship with him has progressed is "how it should be".

The 40-year-old explained: “Normally, after two and a half years, I’ve already got a baby, I’m engaged, married and divorced.

"This has been how it should be, this has been getting to know each other, moving in, then getting engaged, then getting married. No way do I want any more kids, as of yet."

Ryan got down on one knee in Spain a couple of weeks ago and proposed on Kerry's 40th birthday.

The blonde beauty went on to say: “Before, it’s always been about a wedding, I don’t want a wedding, I want a marriage. Ryan’s my partner, my life partner.

"I feel like this is how it should have been the first time and second… and third time around!”

Kerry has been married three times, her first husband was Brian McFadden, with whom she shares daughters Molly, 18, and Lily, 17. She then wed Mark Croft and they have two children, Heidi, 13, and Max, 12. She was then married to her youngest daughter DJ's father George Kay, who tragically died.

She said: “I know I’ve been married a million and one times, I feel like I’ve waited my whole life getting to this point mentally as well as physically."

Talking from the heart and of her well-documented life in the public eye, Kerry said she deserved her "happy ever after".
