Lady Gaga breaks silence after ‘beloved’ dogs stolen: 'My heart is sick'

Lady Gaga revealed her ‘heart is sick’ as she broke her silence after her dogs were stolen.

The Bad Romance singer’s French bulldogs, Koji and Gustavo, were taken in LA on Wednesday – with dogwalker Ryan Fischer shot in the shocking attack.

Taking to Twitter, the 34-year-old spoke out over the ordeal, offering a sum of $500,000 (£358k) for their safe return.

Alongside snaps of the pooches, she wrote: ‘My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago.

‘My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.

‘I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email [email protected] to contact us.

‘If you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same.’

Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – also heaped praise on Ryan – who is currently recovering in hospital.

‘I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family,’ she added. ‘You’re forever a hero.’

Ryan was shot by two men this week, with the attackers stealing the A Star Is Born actress’ French bulldogs Koji and Gustavo.

A third dog, Miss Asia, managed to escape and was later recovered by police.

The Fischer family released a statement on Friday to give an update on his recovery, sharing a message of thanks to Gaga for her support.

‘Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery,’ the message, given to TMZ, read.

‘We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan.’

‘Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset.

‘Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return.’
