Lydia Bright opens up on being called a ‘child abuser’ by tolls for being ‘a little hungover’ while caring for daughter

Lydia Bright has discussed the vicious comments she received from trolls and mum-shamers after she admitted she was "a little bit hungover" while caring for her daughter, Loretta.

Lydia, 30, revealed that after drinking a couple of glasses of wine after so long of not drinking alcohol, she felt "a little bit hungover" the following morning when tending to her baby girl.

Former TOWIE star Lydia opened up on the cruel comments from trolls when chatting to Sam Thompson on his internet series, Quarantea.

The Made In Chelsea star asked Lydia if she has ever had to deal with the 'mum police', to which she replied: "I am very real on my Instagram stories… I really want to highlight the ups and downs of parenthood.

"I want to show when I'm struggling. One day I'd had a really tough day, I was like, "I'm going to have a glass of wine".

"I haven't really drunk for a year so the next day I had a headache. I said "I've got a little bit of a hangover this morning." The next day, oh my gosh, I get called a child abuser."

Lydia said that she refuses to let negative troll comments affect her and most of her followers send her positive messages.

She said: "It's a small minority who send the abuse. But I'm not going to not share things like that. If I've had a hard day and I need to take the edge of then I'm going to do it.

"When someone says something negative about your parenting responsibilities it hits a lot harder.

"If you think you're a bad parent then you've failed at life. That is the most important thing for any person as a parent.

"Your child should come first, but I have to remember it's such a small minority who think that. I'm so lucky, I get sent a lot of lovely messages and DMs giving me advice."

Lydia had treated herself to a glass of wine after spending the day looking after her two month old daughter Loretta and cleaning her stunning home.

Shortly after admitting her day “went to s**t”, Lydia shared a Boomerang video of herself kissing a wine bottle on her Instagram story.

The black and white clip had a sticker with the words: “Yes to the weekend,” placed on top.

The next morning Lydia posted a video of herself looking worse for wear while in bed as she placed the song Hangover by Taio Cruz and Flo Rida.

Lydia then wrote on top of the footage: “I didn’t put covers on my bed last night. I’m drinking coke at 5am. Don’t judge.”

In the next Instagram story, she then shared a string of messages from trolls who criticised her for having a drink after putting her daughter to bed.

Lydia then wrote above the screenshots: “Then I also unfortunately get messages like this.

“After a year of no alcohol (due to being pregnant) I had my first glass of wine last week. Last night I had a couple of glasses I wasn’t drunk falling over and Loretta was in bed.

“I have a small hangover which is already lifting because clearly my body isn’t used to alchol after such a long time.” [sic]
