Michelle Keegan has returned for filming on Sky One's comedy drama series Brassic after she was reportedly forced to self-isolate after coming into contact with coronavirus while on a photo shoot.

The actress, who recently showed off her new 'contoured' hair transformation, appeared in high spirits as she got to work on set.

Michelle was pictured wearing a brown patterned crop top, a pair of black cargo pants and chunky platform boots.

The 33 year old got into the character of Erin Croft by teaming her outfit with a pair of gold hooped earrings, necklace and bracelet.

Just before shooting Michelle's team of stylists made sure her hair and make-up were top notch for her scenes.

In between takes, the former Coronation Street star covered up from the cold Salford weather by wearing a white padded winter coat and kept protected with a face mask.

Michelle's return comes after it was reported that she had to self-quarantine after coming into contact with coronavirus while on a shoot in Manchester in October.

As a result, the Our Girl star, who recently showed off her Christmas decorations, reportedly had to isolate for two weeks and had to take time off from filming for the third season of Brassic.

A source told Mail Online: "Michelle had to take time away from the Brassic set once again and has been laying low in Essex with her husband Mark Wright.

"She only missed one day of filming. But she needed to isolate after she came into contact with someone in Manchester who had it.

"Luckily it all happened very quickly and Michelle did not return to the Brassic set before isolating. So it didn't affect filming too much," the insider explained.

"She spent the last two weeks in isolation. She will go back to filming at the end of this week.
