Millie Mackintosh is ‘ready to hatch’ in bump photo after sharing birth worries during coronavirus

Millie Mackintosh looks ready to pop as she showed her growing belly in her latest bump update.

The mum-to-be is fast approaching her May due date and posted a photo of her rounded belly saying she was, "Feeling ready for this chick to hatch".

Millie, 30, has been documenting her pregnancy journey with her followers and recently confessed her worries about giving birth during the coronavirus outbreak.

The former Made In Chelsea star looked glowing as she posed in a pink check bikini, reclining on her bed to show just how much her stomach had grown as she awaits the arrival of her baby girl.

Millie, who recently spoke of her disappointment about not being able to celebrate her baby shower due to the lockdown, also shared how she was trying to "stay calm and positive" ahead of going into labour.

Writing alongside a picture of her looking down at her bump, Millie said: "As stricter measures are put in place regarding birthing partners and birth plans, it's becoming an increasingly uncertain time for anyone pregnant and my thoughts are going out to all my fellow expectant mothers.

"I’ve made the conscious decision to stay calm and positive as things are changing daily and I can’t predict what the rules will be in a few weeks when I’m due to give birth.

"I know that everyone working in healthcare is doing the absolute best they can given the circumstances and it’s vital to protect the NHS."

She continued: "I’m taking things hour by hour and keep reminding myself that although things are a little scary, there are people all over the world currently separated from loved ones, so I am very grateful to have my little haven at home with Hugo in the lead up to the birth, knowing that we will be rewarded with a little bundle of joy that will make us feel more love than we’ve ever known before.

"I remind myself of this daily when times feel a little hard. Sending you all lots of love at this time."

Millie and Hugo have been steadily getting ready for the arrival of their newborn, taking their followers inside the nursery as well as setting up the baby's crib.

The reality star also shared how she had packed a hospital bag ready for when she goes into labour.

In the snap, a selection of items can be seen spread out onto the edge of a bed, including pink and white coloured baby grows, small cardigans, hats, muslins and diapers.

Towards the other side of the bed some personal items that she'll be needing for her trip can be seen, including a pair of slippers, a make up bag, a water bottle, towels and some clothes.

Posting a photo of the contents on the social media channel, Millie wrote over it: "I started packing my hospital bag!"

Millie then promised her 1.3 million followers that she would film an IGTV video specifically to show them what will be included in the hospital bag.
