Modest Mouse Top Billboards Adult Alternative Airplay Chart With We Are Between

Modest Mouse rules the Billboard‘s Adult Alternative Airplay chart after “We Are Between” rose to No. 1 from 2nd position on the chart dated June 19.

The song gives the band two straight No. 1s on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart following “Lampshades on Fire,” which reigned the chart for four weeks in February 2015. “We Are Between” rose to the top spot in just its fifth week on the chart, besting the nine-week trip to No. 1 for “Lampshades on Fire.”

“We Are Between” is the lead single from the band’s upcoming seventh studio album The Golden Casket, which drops on June 25. In addition to its lead single, the band has released one other song from the LP, “Leave a Light On.”
