Reedus started off his acting career in the early Nineties, slowly building up his CV with small roles in films and TV shows.

The Walking Dead would be the project boosting his pay packet the most, considering he’s been part of the show from the start.

Reedus has become a major player in the show and one of the leads over time.

This became more so the case following British actor Lincoln’s exit as Rick Grimes in season nine and there were reports Reedus and co-star Melissa McBride – better known as Carol Peletier – renegotiated their contracts in 2018.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reedus’ new deal would see him make around £277,000 ($350,000) per episode of The Walking Dead.

The publication went on to report how the three-year deal could be worth between £39 million and £71 million ($50 million to $90 million).

Walking Dead regulars Reedus and McBride were said to make around £6,700 ($8,500) per episode previously but the deal means their salaries were significantly bumped up.

Along with acting, Reedus is also a photographer and artist with an online gallery.

Fans can also purchase some of his prints with his works exhibited in Berlin, New York, San Francisco, among at other locations.

He even has a book out called The Sun’s Coming Up… Like A Big Bald Head: Photographs by Norman Reedus.

All of this will have bolstered his income significantly. With The Walking Dead universe expanding with spin-offs and movies, Reedus could see his net worth increasing further.

There have also been reports Reedus could get his own movie – much like Lincoln who is working on a series of TV films focusing on Rick Grimes.
