Peter Andre’s wife Emily teaches daughter Amelia, six, maths over FaceTime as she works on NHS frontline

Peter Andre’s wife Emily is working tirelessly as a doctor in the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic, but made time to help her daughter Amelia with maths over a FaceTime video call.

Peter, 47, shared the sweet videos to his Instagram stories which show 30 year old Emily, whom he married in 2015, teaching six year old Amelia.

Peter called Emily for help after he struggled with homeschooling as he wrote over a picture of himself looking exasperated with his head in his hands: “It started off well.”

Next sharing a picture of Emily on FaceTime helping Little Amelia, Peter wrote: “Then mummy came to the rescue," followed by: "Go on Ems…"

Emily tells her daughter to hold up her fingers as they count together to work out a maths equation, saying: “You're gonna start off at eight and then we're gonna add seven.”

After a failed first attempt, the mother-and-daughter duo successfully count to 15, which is the right answer.

Emily has opened up on working on the frontline as a doctor amid the coronavirus pandemic in her latest OK! column.

She said: “Of course I’m worried that I could potentially bring it home to the kids, but I’m trying to be sensible and washing my hands and changing out of my clothes straight away before having a shower.

I’m also not going too near them where possible, but it’s a challenging time.”

She also praised Peter for his efforts homeschooling their brood as she said: “Pete has been home schooling the kids by himself when I’m at work.

"I take my hat off to him. It’s not easy looking after four kids of different ages and having to do all the cooking and manage their workloads, while also keeping Theo entertained."
