South Korean actress Oh In-hye dies of cardiac arrest aged 36
South Korean actress Oh In-hye has died aged 36.
The Sin Of A Family actress died on Monday, after she was found unconscious at her home in Incheon.
According to police, they responded to a call from Oh’s friend, who found her unconscious at home at around 5am on Monday.
Og was taken to Inha University Hospital, but died that evening of a cardiac arrest.
The circumstances of Oh’s death are being investigated, but it is suspected that she died by suicide.
According to Variety, a police spokesperson explained that Oh had been suffering from depression, and said: ‘We have found no reason to suspect murder and there were no signs of intrusion into Ms. Oh’s house. It appears she made an extreme choice.’
Oh made her feature film debut in 2011’s Sin Of A Family, and went on to star in Red Vacance Black Wedding the same year.
She also starred in Secret Travel and Janus: Two Faces Of The Desire, as well as the TV dramas Horse Doctor and Yeonnam-dong 439.
However, over the last few years, she had begun to focus more on beauty vlogging on YouTube; her final vlog was uploaded on September 12.
She also recently recorded a duet, Better Yet, with singer Nautilus.
Oh’s funeral visitation has been held at Inha University Hospital, and her funeral procession will take place today.
