Staind Announce Live Album, Two-Part Global Streaming Series

Staind have announced that the rock band’s first album in nine years, Live: It’s Been Awhile, will be released on May 7 via Yap’em/Alchemy Recordings. Staind also shared a new live rendition of the album’s title song.

Ahead of the release of the album, a two-part global streaming series titled “The Return Of Staind” will be streamed in partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents.

The first part, “Live: It’s Been Awhile (From Foxwoods),” will be streamed globally on May 1.

Speaking about the concert, Staind lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis said, “These were the first grouping of shows we played together in 2019, when we were gearing up for what was to be a very busy 2020…that never happened”.

“I’m glad we captured that energy here and can share it with those who couldn’t be at Foxwoods,” he added.

The second part of the streaming series, the “20th Anniversary Of Break The Cycle, Performed In Its Entirety,” is scheduled for May 8.

Staind will perform all the songs from their iconic multi-platinum 2001 album Break The Cycle at Mill 1 in Open Square in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This is a virtual event, with no physical attendance for fans.
