Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke gives update on son George’s health after he’s rushed to hospital
Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has given fans an update on his son George’s health after he was rushed to hospital last week.
The 53 year old professional dancer said his son is “in fine fettle” as he took to Twitter to thank fans for their “kind” messages for his son.
Anton, who recently said he “doesn’t know” if Strictly Come Dancing will return this year, wrote: “Morning my loves, thank you all so much for your kind messages about George – delighted to say all's well and he's in fine fettle!”
The dancer, who was forced to cancel his virtual dance classes as his three year old son was rushed to hospital last week, added: “Apologies again for the class cancellations last week – let's get back on track… Choreo Combo at 11am! Anton XX,” followed by a kiss, dancing and clock emoji.

Anton then attached an image of a timetable for his dance classes this week and shared the same post on his Instagram page.
The Strictly Come Dancing star’s update was met with messages of well wishes from some of his social media followers.
One wrote: “Great to hear George is doing well. No need for apologies, your family come 1st, we will always be here for you,” followed by a series of heart emojis.
Another added: “Glad to hear that George is recovering, i missed you already”. [sic]
While a third wrote: “Hope you and your little boy is keeping well” and a fourth echoed their sentiments with: “So glad that George is recovering well xxx”.
It comes after Anton shared his son’s health news as he apologised for fans for being unable to host his fitness class.
He tweeted: “So sorry my loves, I won’t be able to take today’s classes as little George has had an operation and a short stay in hospital – but don’t worry, he’s all ok now!
“A huge thank you to all the brilliant @NHS Doctors & Nurses for looking after us – you’re all simply amazing. Anton XX.”

The couple welcomed the twins in 2017. Anton recently gushed about being in lockdown with his wife and two children.
When asked about how he is finding lockdown in an exclusive interview with OK! magazine in April, he said: “We are having the loveliest time all together. We are blessed that we have the two most gorgeous children in the world and we have a nice garden so we can get outside and play football.
“I still do press-ups with the twins on my back, but I only do child at a time now!”
