Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore’ Reclaims Top Spot On Billboard 200
Taylor Swift‘s Folklore reclaimed the top spot on Billboard‘s all-genre 200 chart, earning its seventh non-consecutive week atop the list.
Folklore earned 87,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending September 24, up 97 percent, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Of Folklore‘s units earned in the newest tracking week, album sales comprise 56,000, up 339%; SEA units comprise 30,000, down 4%; and TEA units total 1,000, up 38%.
With the latest top ranking, Swift has surpassed Whitney Houston‘s record for the most number of weeks spent atop the chart by a female artist. Swift has now ruled the chart for 47 weeks, one more than Houston’s tally of 46.
