YouTube star Corey La Barrie died in a tragic accident on May 10, 2020 on his 25th birthday, according to People. Corey was a passenger in a car driven by Ink Master‘s Daniel Silva. According to the outlet, the deadly car crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles. Daniel was driving a 2020 McLaren 600LT when he lost control and collided with a stop sign then a tree on the corner of Huston Street and Carpenter Avenue

Daniel then tried to leave the crash site but was stopped by people who rushed over to help. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, according to People.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Daniel for murder, according to People. Meanwhile, according to TMZ, Corey was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Corey’s brother, Jarrad La Barrie, paid tribute to his brother on Instagram, saying: “This isn’t something I thought I would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what i wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving.”
