10.20pm Arsenal news LIVE: Lacazette offered in Partey deal, Vardy transfer ‘done’ until meeting, Aubameyang LATEST – The Sun

ARSENAL are preparing for the return of the Premier League, but Mikel Arteta admits they have a number of transfer plans depending on how the coronavirus crisis turns out.

And one of their previous transfer plans which fell through was that of Jamie Vardy, who rejected the club after sitting down with Arsene Wenger to finalise a deal in 2016.

Arsenal are hoping to secure a deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and are willing to let Alexandre Lacazette leave to complete the deal, according to reports.

The £50million-rated Ghanaian has become a key figure at Atletico and impressed in their Champions League success over Liverpool.

Partey still has three years remaining on his contract at Atletico, with the club poised to tie him down to a new package.

It means Arsenal – who have limited funds to give Arteta – will have to get creative if they want to prize away the midfielder from Spain.

That means the Spaniard could even be willing to sacrifice 28-year-old striker Lacazette in a part-exchange deal.

Arsenal are eyeing a move for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic if Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang leaves the club in the summer.

Spanish newspaper Sport are reporting that the Gunners are keen on the former Eintracht Frankfurt man as Aubameyang's successor.

Jovic has only managed two goals for Madrid this season after shining for the German side.

Aubameyang's future is in doubt with the striker reluctant to sign a new deal.

Barcelona and Inter Milan are keen on the Gabon international.

He's lost in his own time and space… thinking about bombing up and down the right flank in overlapping runs at the Emirates, of course.

Mikel Arteta has pictures of the special stuff on a shelf behind his work desk.

In a video with Arsenal TV, it shows the Spaniard with snaps of his kids… and signing for Arsenal.

Everton are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Chelsea and Arsenal target Gabriel Magalhaes for £20million from Lille.

Several clubs have been tracking the Brazilian, 22, as he continues the form that saw him break into the Ligue 1 side's defence during the second half of last season.

The Guardian reported last week that the Toffees were moving clear of their Premier League rivals in sealing the centre-back's services for next season.

And now Arena Napoli claim a medical has already been completed for Gabriel to sign for Everton.

Lille are said to have agreed a deal in principle worth around £20m plus add-ons with the player earning approximately £35,000-a-week.
