Discount retailer Aldi has recently launched ranges inspired by takeaways such as Nando’s, KFC and McDonald’s. It has now added more items to its list of takeaway favourites.

Aldi is known for offering a range of tasty ‘fakeaway’ items which can be picked up for an affordable price.

After having success with a range inspired by McDonald’s favourites, it has added a new item.

The retailer will introduce the brand new Tasty Burger Sauce Melt, which will be available from Thursday, July 1.

Inspired by McDonald’s popular Big Mac sauce, it has been released as part of an upgrade of Aldi’s premium burgers, The Best Ever Burger.

The melt sauce is laid upon Aldi’s Best Ever burgers, which are made from cuts of chuck, brisket, dry aged beef and a hint of bone marrow.

The Best Ever Burger with Tasty Burger Sauce Melt will retail for £2.99 for a pack of two, or around £1.50 each.

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on the treat this week but they must act fast.

It will hit shelves as part of the supermarkets Specialbuys but will only available while stocks last.

The supermarket recently launched other offerings inspired by the fast food giant.

The products have been released to rival McDonald’s and cost as much as 47 percent less.

Aldi’s latest range includes 12 Chicken Nuggets with Dip boxes, which cost £1.69.

The McDonald’s style cardboard box includes the fresh nuggets with a tangy Sweet Chilli sauce and a BBQ sauce.

The range also includes 10 Breakfast Hash Browns and a Snacksters Big Stack Burger.

Aldi’s burger, which costs £1.49, also took inspiration from McDonald’s popular burger range.

The products were introduced after fans compared Aldi’s 75p fish burger to McDonald’s Filet o-Fish.

Shoppers have taken to the comments of Aldi’s Instagram page to rave about the products which were launched earlier this year.

One wrote: “I’ve tried these and they are amazing.”

Another added: “These look insane and if the fish burger is anything to go by, they’re going to taste real good.”

A third simply said: “Loved it.”

Commenting on the new launch, one added: “I can’t wait to try these!”
