Cheapest BBQs including charcoal, gas and disposable – and you can get same-day delivery – The Sun

IF you're thinking of firing up the grill this weekend, we've helped you out by rounding up the cheapest BBQs on the high street.

Whether you want a disposable one or a fancy dual fuel charcoal and gas number, we've got you covered.

We've even found some that can be ordered today and delivered later this evening ready for the weekend.

Just remember to check delivery fees if you're shopping online, and if you're after a particular style, use a price comparison site to ensure you're getting the best deal.

PriceSpy and Google Shopping are good places to start.

Also remember you shouldn't be making special trips to the shops for non-essential purchases – only buy in store if you are going anyway for your weekly shop.

Disposable BBQs

Sainsbury's and Tesco disposable BBQs – £2.50

If you've only got a small garden or you can't see yourself firing up the barbie very often you might want to consider a disposable BBQ.

Lots of places have sold out online – including the cheapest deals – but you can still pick one up for £2.50 at both Sainsbury's and Tesco.

Sainsbury's is currently only delivering online shopping to vulnerable customers, while Tesco is also prioritising vulnerable shoppers so your best bet is to head in store.

Just bear in mind that you should only be shopping for household essentials, so don't make a special trip, just pick one up when you're doing your food shop as normal.

Robert Dyas disposable BBQ – £2.99

If you can't leave your house the next best option for home delivery is Robert Dyas, which charges £2.99 for its disposable BBQ.

You will, however, have to fork out £4.95 on standard delivery or £5.95 on next day delivery. Orders over £50 come with free delivery.

Charcoal BBQs

If you're ready to take your barbecuing to the next level, you might want to consider a larger-sized charcoal BBQ.

Just remember you'll need to buy the coal separately, and you're likely to need fire lighters or lighter fluid to get the coals going.

Argos Home 35cm Round Charcoal BBQ – £10

The cheapest charcoal BBQ we could find online is Argos' basic version for £10.

When we checked you could order it and collect in store today for free, although this will vary by location.

It's currently out of stock for home delivery.

Argos Home Charcoal Oil Drum BBQ – £40

If you'd prefer a drum-shaped BBQ with a lid to keep your food warm on the grill, the cheapest version we could find online was also from Argos costing £40.

You could order now and collect in store for free tomorrow or you can get it delivered to your home tomorrow for £3.95, although this will of course vary depending on stock locally.

For £10 more, you can get a £50 barrel drum BBQ from Argos with utensils and a cover for home delivery today, which again costs £3.95.

Gas BBQs

If you don't like your food – and clothes – to end up with a smoky smell you might want to consider a gas BBQ.

Just bear in mind you'll likely need to buy the gas separately.

Argos Home 2 Burner Gas BBQ with Side Burner – £75

Argos was also cheapest for gas BBQs with the best deal we could find online costing £75 at the retailer.

The two-burner BBQ with a side burner is suitable for both propane and butane gas, but only the heat regulator for propane gas is included.

You could order it to your local store now and collect for free from tomorrow, or you could get same day delivery for tonight for £3.95.

Argos is also selling a three-burner gas BBQ with a side burner for £95 – the next cheapest deal online.

Dual fuel combined charcoal and gas BBQs

If you're unsure whether to get a charcoal or gas BBQ, or you like different things cooked in different ways, you could consider a dual fuel BBQ, which combines the two.

Duel Fuel BBQ – £149.99

The cheapest dual fuel BBQ we could find was from Aldi for £149.99.

It's an online exclusive, so you won't find it in store, but it's not on sale online until June 7 so you'll have to wait to get your hands on it.

It's unclear what type of gas this BBQ uses, so check before you buy. Delivery is free on orders over £20.

Premium Dual Fuel Charcoal & Gas Combi BBQ – £225

If you can't wait to get your hands on Aldi's BBQ, the next cheapest we could find was for £225 from Argos.

This one uses propane gas only. It wasn't eligible for collection at our local store but you could order it to your door today for £3.95.
