Mum of three Charley wrote alongside a picture of the brand's logo: "Our own business. I can’t believe it. I’m beyond excited for this but also so nervous.

"We’ve wanted to do this for years and we’ve finally got to the stage where we can make it happen. We’re starting off really small and hopefully we will expand as we go.

"Scandinavian style is my favourite whether it’s toys or decor and with Nördi Bäbi we hope to bring you a little bit of what we love. I can’t wait for you guys to go on this journey with us. Xx"

Charley picked out some of her favourite pieces and shared them on the Nördi Bäbi Instagram page after explaining how happy she was with the response to the collection of wooden toys.

"We've been so overwhelmed from the support and response and we’ve been so busy with orders. Some things have sold out so we’ve set up pre orders and there have been some glitches with the websites," she said

Adding: "I just wanted to say thank you. Anyone that has emailed us I will get back to you its taking a little bit go time to get through!"

The soap star shared a look at a red lorry that had three removable bricks, which is listed as £10.95 on the website, as well as a car and boat pull along toy that is £17.95 and an airplane which is also £17.95.

Charley was also particularly taken with a wooden Noah's Ark set that came complete with pairs of animals, and is £69.95.

"This is the Noah's Ark, it is the most beautifully made toy I think I've ever seen. And all the animals to go with it. So so stunning. I think the elephants are my favourite."

And she also shared an insight into life during lockdown during a Q&A on Instagram, as she responded to one fan who asked what life was like as a mum of three during the pandemic.

"Chaos. I found some days really, really tough. I loved having so much precious time with them but the struggle is real. I hope you're ok. Remind yourself that you're doing great."
