Home baker uses Easter egg to make Biscoff cheesecake – sending foodies wild
A food lover has upped the Easter egg game this year.
Eloise Head used a chocolate egg shell to make a tasty Lotus Biscoff-themed dessert.
The home baker and content creator, who provides short and simple recipe videos across her Fitwaffle social media channels, shared a video of a festive cheesecake ahead of the celebration.
In the viral clip, which has been seen more than 3.7 million times on TikTok, the 27-year-old first bakes a caramel-flavoured cheesecake using double cream, cream cheese and Carnation caramel.
For the base, she uses 350g crushed Digestive biscuits and 180g of melted unsalted butter.
She lists the portion of ingredients she used for the filling: "350ml double cream, cold. 500g cream cheese. 120g icing sugar and 120g Carnation caramel."
Then she sprinkles some Digestive biscuit crumbs inside the half-open Easter chocolate egg, before dropping the leftover cheesecake in and filling it to the brim.
Moving on to the decorations, Eloise covers the cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff spread and sprinkles it with extra crumbs.
She then tops it off with a mini caramel-flavoured cream biscuit.
Fans were thrilled by the creation and called it "the next level cheesecake".
One said: "This is making me hungry, need to get the stuff at Aldi tomorrow!"
