How to get a Pret coffee for £1 as 300 stores reopen after coronavirus lockdown measures ease

Pret A Manger is welcoming back customers following the coronavirus lockdown with one of its biggest ever promotions – your daily coffee for just £1.

The coffee chain, which has been closed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, is now set to open all 300 of its stores in the UK after the government announced measures were going to ease.

They are now offering Pret fans the opportunity to purchase a card which entitles them to 20 of Pret’s organic coffees for just £20.

Available across all stores as of 1 June, the card also encourages customers to share the love by tearing it to give one half to a friend, gifting them ten coffees.

To make sure it remains safe, the 'Joy of Coffee' card, which is redeemable until 20 July 2020, is even coated with an anti-bacterial varnish as part of Pret’s ongoing safety measures introduced during the pandemic.

Pret’s range of organic coffee and teas, including Iced Americanos and Iced Lattes, are also part of the offer.

While the stores are reopening, they are offering a limited menu, but popular items like their tuna mayo and cucumber baguette will still be available.

Pret have also introduced safety measures for staff and customers to keep in line with the government guidance, which includes protective Perspex screens fitted at the till counter and queue management outside stores.

"Launching our biggest and most generous coffee promotion felt like right way to welcome customers back to Pret, now that we’re reopened more shops across the UK for both takeaway and delivery."
