I know my brother is cheating on his wife and I can’t stop worrying about it – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY brother has confided in me that he’s cheating on his wife with another woman. I can’t stop worrying about it.

I’m 19 and he’s 28. He’s been with his wife since he was 16, so I was a child when I first got to know her and I love her like a sister.

They’ve got three kids, all under ten, and it is hectic round their house, especially with all the kids home at the moment from school and nursery.

My brother is a plumber and he’s sneaking round to see his other woman when he is supposed to be out on jobs. This is really playing on my mind.

DEIDRE SAYS: You can’t police your brother but do tell him how worried you are for him, his wife and his children.

Cheating might feel like an escape from family pressures but they all stand to suffer so much if he lets his marriage suffer.

Ask him at least to take a break from his affair and try to sort any pressures at home. My e-leaflet Torn Between Two Women could help if he will read it.

Then you have to stand back . . . but be ready to be a shoulder to cry on.
