Joe Wicks buys his mum a new house – here’s a look at other stars who’ve done the same for their parents
Celebrities over the years have been known to splash their cash on cars, gadgets and, to reference MTV, amazing cribs, too! However, certain stars have shared the good life with their families, buying their parents a home to call their own.
Joe Wicks, the nation’s PE teacher, is now estimated to be worth £15 million, and as a gesture of generosity, he recently decided to treat his mum to a house.
Taking to Instagram, the star gushed: “I'm eternally grateful for every single person who followed me and bought one of them books for themselves or family member. That changed my life, I never in a million years predicted we'd sell anywhere near that many books.
"They said if we sell 70,000 books in the first year we've had a success, and we sold like one million books.

"And it allowed me to do the one thing I think most boys dream of doing when they earn a bit of dough – buy your mum a house."
Joe continued to tell fans that his mum “lived in a council house,” where “[they’d] never had mortgages” as it “wasn’t on the radar from [them].”
He continued: “She’s wanted to own something, so she lives there and she’s so happy.”
Here’s a look at the other big names who’ve splashed the cash for their parents…
