Katie Price cruelly trolled for leaving Harvey to get liposuction in Turkey
Katie Price has been slammed by a troll who claimed she "left" her son Harvey to travel for cosmetic surgery in Turkey.
The 43-year-old former glamour model jetted to the red-list country last week with her fiancé Carl Woods.
She took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to share an adorable throwback snap of herself and Harvey, 19, as she recovered from liposuction.
Clearly missing her child, the mother-of-five captioned her cute social media update: "The best cuddles are from you babies".
While a majority of Katie's followers flooded the post with positive messages, one social media user blasted her for jetting off to Turkey and leaving her disabled son in the UK.
Harvey has a series of disabilities, including ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia.
The Instagram user commented: "Well if you hadn't got to a red country for you're own vain self. You could cuddle him (sic).
"I thought you look after Harvey 24/7 and only you can calm Harvey down".
The message referred to a comment the reality star made in her BBC documentary Harvey and Me.
Fans of the former I'm A Celebrity contestant jumped in to defend the star, with one insisting: ""All do respect…. Do you have a child with special needs? Have you any idea how all consuming it can be?
"Carers are allowed to take time out for their own mental health. It's really important.
"Don't judge until you've walked a mile in her shoes. If you have nothing nice to say then keep your negativity to yourself."
Daily Star has contracted a rep for Katie for a comment.
Katie has claimed that jetting off to Turkey is "work" because it will appear on her new show.
Guidelines suggest that red locations should not be visited "except in the most extreme circumstances".
A representative for the star told MailOnline: "Katie has travelled with her fiancé to undergo a surgical procedure.
"The purpose of this travel is essential in that it is for her work, she is being filmed undergoing the operation."
Anybody returning to Britain from a red-list country needs to quarantine in a hotel, at their own expense, for 10 days.
The Page 3 icon broke both her feet last summer after suffering a horror fall while on holiday in Turkey with her family.
She jumped off a 25 foot wall and has since been left unable to do much walking.
Katie's rep added: "Since her horrific accident in Turkey last year that left Katie with life changing injuries, Katie has not been able to exercise or lose weight gained post op in the way she has successfully done so in the past.
"Despite her efforts to lose weight she has gained over two stone – this in turn has put immense pressure and further strain on her feet and is directly affecting her walking and management of day to day as a mother of five without being in constant pain."

Katie's representative also confirmed to the publication that both the reality star, Carl and camera crew will stay in a mandatory quarantine hotel when they get back.
