Kim Kardashians rocky love life – three failed marriages and sex tape scandal
Kim Kardashian's love life is more dramatic than an actual soap opera. From marriages that lasted mere weeks to a geeky comedian toy-boy, Kim keeps her fans on their toes.
And since the reality stunner is happy to share almost every gory detail of her personal life, she’s made some serious cash from it – Kim is said to be worth a staggering $1.8billion (£1.6b).
The 42-year-old has filmed her weddings, been photographed thousands of times with beaus – whether they like it or not, it seems – and even made money from a sex tape she starred in.

So harking back to when Kim was just Paris Hilton’s assistant, and as she celebrates her 42nd birthday, Dail Star takes a look at all her lovers and how she has navigated coupledom in the spotlight.
Kim has actually been married three times – her first, lesser-known wedding was to music producer Damian Thomas when she was just 19.
She was married to him from 2000 to 2003 and Kim claimed in her divorce papers he was “controlling”.
Kim made the pretty outrageous claim too that she was high on ecstasy when she married him in Las Vegas.
Damian, now 51, hit back by warning Kim to be “more responsible” with her statements because they all have children now and saying it made “no sense” that she was on ecstasy when they tied the knot as they were together for a number of years
This is the name everyone’s familiar with because he was Kim’s co-star in the infamous sex tape. They were on and off between 2002 and 2007.
When the tape was leaked, rather than squash it, Kim bought the rights to it and basically made herself very rich – and her career as a reality queen was borne.
Singer and actor Ray J, 41, is Snoop Dogg’s first cousin.
Ray J recently spoke out about the tape and how he has “sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about”.
It is thought Kim has unseen footage of the infamous tape and Ray J also insists that it was Kim’s mum Kris Jenner, 66, who orchestrated the release of the x-rated film.
Nick Lachey is of course Jessica Simpson’s ex who she starred in the reality show Newlyweds with.
He went on a date with Kim back in 2006 to see a film but has since said he is dubious about her intentions as, when they left, 25 paparazzi were “shockingly” waiting for them.
Nick, 48, recalled: “I think there were other things in play on our little rendezvous."
No hard feelings though as he also said: "Couldn't be a nicer girl, had a great time, but no we don't keep in touch anymore."
The singer and America’s Got Talent host was with Kim for about a year in 2006.
Though Nick, 42, has said she is one of “the nicest people you will ever meet” but they ultimately broke up because she lied about the tape she made with Ray J.
She said it didn’t exist.
Nick, who has 11-year-old twins with Mariah Carey, said: "This was my issue.
“We talked about this tape… And she told me there was no tape.
“But the fact that she lied and told me that there was no tape?”
The dad-of-nine also said that Kim “broke his heart” but they “were just kids when they dated”.
Shortly after her sex tape fame in 2007, Kim started dating NFL player Reggie Bush.
He featured in early episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and it was hoped they would get engaged but they broke up so that each could “focus on their careers”.
It was also said that Reggie, 37, now an analyst for Fox Sport, was finding Kim’s ever-increasing quest for fame too much to handle because he “couldn’t keep up”.
Who can forget the mammoth wedding to former basketball pro Kris Humphries in 2011 that lasted just 72 days?
The run-up to the nuptials was intense and teased relentlessly on Kim’s E! Show before being broadcast in its entirety in a two-part special.
The engagement ring was so valuable, worth £2m, that it had to be transported in an armoured truck and it’s believed that momager Kris secured at least £3m worth of deals around the big event.
All good right? Well, until Kim announced weeks later she wanted to divorce Kris, 37.
He later described their marriage as “brutal but 100% real” when accused of faking their relationship for fame and money.
To date, Kim’s marriage to Kanye West has been by far her most high-profile.
Following her split from Kris, it was rumoured she was dating the rapper but it wasn't until she flew to Paris to see one of his fashion shows she “fell madly in love with him”.
They had their first child, North, in 2013 and got married in a lavish, over-the-top ceremony in Italy a year later with a live orchestra.
Three more children followed and Kim’s “look” became more high fashion as she started wearing Kanye’s creations.
The 45-year-old also featured a topless Kim in his music video for Bound 2.
But fast forward to 2020 and cracks began to show. Kanye announced he was running for president and accused Kim of “locking him up” and publicly revealed private details about their marriage and Kim's family.
It then transpired that Kanye suffers from bi-polar disorder and Kim begged fans for compassion and understanding.
However, their divorce was announced in February 2021 and Kim said that she felt like a “f***** loser” for her third failed marriage, but wanted someone to “share the little things with” like working out and watching the same shows.
Since their split, Kanye has been fairly vocal about his feelings towards Kim and her family, especially Kris, 66, and publicly criticises the Kardashians on a regular basis.
No one could quite believe this coupling.
Kim is a world-famous reality star with killer curves and Pete is a geeky-looking comedian from Staten Island – but it worked!
Kim met Pete, 28, when she hosted SNL in 2021 and the pair were in various sketches together including playing Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, where they even shared a kiss.
Just days later Kim and Pete were spotted celebrating Halloween together and before long, they made it Instagram official.
The pair shared various lavish holidays including a trip to London, and Pete even got Kim and her kids’ names added to his ink collection.
Things seemed to be getting pretty serious until Pete had to relocate to Australia for work–- and sadly, the long distance meant the “spark faded” and they broke up in August this year.
Kim is currently single.
