Lucy Mecklenburgh recently shared a new look inside her son Roman's nursery as she added a stylish new cot.

The 29 year old, who gave birth back in March, has previously shared images of the sensational nursery on her Instagram interior and home account, named "Lucy Meck Interiors".

Now Lucy and fiancé Ryan Thomas have put in a complicated new addition, which the former Coronation Street actor joked was like "the Crystal Maze" trying to put it together.

Revealing that the cot had arrived from Cuckoo Land, Lucy said she was "so excited" to see it built joking that she was glad Ryan was putting it together and not her.

"Rather him than me! He actually said it's not actually hard to put together the instructions are super simple to follow," Lucy wrote as she shared a clip of Ryan on the floor with a screwdriver.

After it was finished, Lucy shared a snap of the cot adding: "Cot is from @cuckoolondon couldn't be happier!!! I love it so much!!!"

And it seems six month old Roman was equally happy with his new sleeping arrangement as Lucy held her son aloft after he slept the night in their cooing over him as he grinned away.

The former TOWIE star also revealed that the cot is designed to transform into a mini bunk bed as Roman gets older.

Lucy Mecklenburgh house: inside pregnant star's stunning Essex home

Lucy and fiancé Ryan shared a look inside their son's nursery shortly before he arrived earlier this year.

As well as the main image of Lucy’s nursery, the brunette beauty also shared intricate details found around the room with her fans.

Taking to her stories, Lucy, who recently revealed how she told her family that she was pregnant, showed off a string of adorable baby jackets hanging in a wardrobe in different colours and types.

Another shot revealed blocks spelling out the word "baby", and a third featured the space Lucy uses to change her baby boy; a sweet whicker changer on a chest of drawers filled to the rafters with baby products.

Other stunning embellishments include a golden bookend of a monkey in a top hat from House of Fraser. The bookend holds various children’s books in place, including ‘Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes,’ and ‘Peekaboo at night.’

A cute wardrobe space revealed a drawer packed neatly with socks and shoes for her baby, and hangers for all of his clothes.

On top of the changer, Lucy showed off cuddly toys and sweet animal-themed door knobs from Anthropologie and on the wardrobe rested vibrantly-decorated wicker baskets and toys, all of which were neatly organised.

And updating the space as she goes, Lucy also took to Instagram in October to show off more stylish additions to Roman's room.

During a video tour, the star revealed an amazing sofa which sits in the space, complete with animal-themed scatter cushions.

And, in keeping to the animal theme, there's also a matte white lamp with a monkey climbing up the stem on show and a statement gold giraffe lamp at the entrance of the room.

The curtains and shutters match the neutral brown shade running through the room, and the carpet looks brand new and soft to the touch.

In the corner of the room on the wall sits a white TV, which we're sure comes in handy when it's time to pop a children's show on.

And everything is so neat in the space, including the wardrobe section where the wicker baskets are so neatly organised.

It seems mum Lucy has left no stone unturned, with scatter cushions making for the perfect recline when it comes to storybook time, and even the drawer knobs have been thoughtfully added in animal theme.
