Lydia Bright has marked her daughter turning six months old with a sweet celebration.

The proud mum gushed about little Loretta saying how wonderful it had been making "beautiful memories" with her during lockdown and their first staycation together.

Former TOWIE star Lydia also used the occasion to discuss her brand partnership with Aldi who are launching their Mamia and Baby Series live on Facebook to support new parents who have been struggling during the pandemic.

Lydia, 29, shared a snap of her daughter surrounded by clear balloons filled with confetti and a sign which read "Dinky".

Loretta also sported a mini white sparkly crown which had "1/2" emblazoned on it as well as a nappy by Aldi brand Mamia.

The reality star wrote in the caption: "Loretta Rose, last week marked six months of you being in my life. I feel like you have always been here, yet I also feel like you were only born yesterday.

"You are growing way too quickly but yet I can’t wait for you to reach every new milestone. Last week we started weaning and you are now wearing nappy pants, CRAZY."

Lydia continued: "We have made the most beautiful memories… our walks round the forest in full bloom, your first ever swimming lesson and our staycation to the seaside. We have experienced some tough times together turning our home from a building site to our palace, your immunisations that made you very poorly, not to mention the small matter of a global pandemic.

"However, despite at times it not quite being the fairy tale I once dreamed of, it turns out the story of ‘just me and you, stuck at home’ was so much better."

Lydia then went on to speak about Loretta's first six months saying: "My little pudding has been on planet earth for half a year! Loretta was born amongst chaos! I think Loretta was only two weeks old when lockdown happened.

"She was born during a global pandemic amongst other stresses, however I do believe you've got to see the positive in everything and the fact that it was just me and Loretta in this house, in this little love bubble, we have created the most magical, special bond because of that and she really is my best friend."

The mum of one set up the celebration in Loretta's pink themed bedroom ahead of the arrival of her little sister Romana visiting.

Her sister filmed Lydia waking Loretta up to the soundtrack of Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday to You" as they walked down the stairs from her room to her daughter's room along a pathway of nappies.

She then arrived at Loretta's room and placed her on a circular pink mat surrounded with the confetti filled balloons and a embroidered rainbow hanging above her.

Lydia announced that Aldi will be holding a "Mamia & Baby Series" of speaker events on their Facebook page starting on 27 August until November offering support with a host of parenting and childcare topics including mental health, the role of dads, managing a family budget and how to deal with a fussy eater.
