Mark Wright can be backed to bounce back from Crawley debut nightmare with a goal against Stevenage tonight

MARK WRIGHT can be backed to bounce back after his horror Crawley debut last week – when they face Stevenage tonight.

The 34-year-old reality TV star was hooked after just 45 minutes into his first start for the club with Crawley 3-0 down to newly-promoted Harrogate.

And his boss John Yems described the whole team's performance as 'farcical'.

He said: "It wasn't Mark's fault, but today it was farcical first half, absolutely farcical.

"It's easy for me to say that players have got to stand up and be counted, but they have now, if not there'll be changes and there will be changes."

But Wright, who could get another crack tonight when they face Stevenage, can be backed to turn things around.

Betway are offering 11/2 on left-back Wright to score anytime, and 14/1 on him being the first scorer in the match.

He can also be backed at 14/1 to be the last scorer or at 80/1 to score in both halves.

Crawley are 13/10 to win the game while the visitors are 11/5.

Crawley are 12th in the league and will still be eyeing a play-off spot, but need to turn their form around, having gone three games without a win.

However they will have to do it with Yems away from the action after he was handed a touchline ban for two matches after breaching FA Rule E3, by trying to enter the match officials' changing room against Leyton Orient.

Stevenage are trying to get themselves away from the relegation zone and sit in 21st place.
