McDonald's names the 28 restaurants NOT serving breakfast tomorrow

MCDONALD’S has named the 28 restaurants that WON’T be serving breakfast tomorrow.

It comes as Maccies is set to bring back brekkie to more than 1,250 branches on Wednesday, July 8.

This is on top of the 42 branches that are already serving McMuffins again as part of an initial trial.

It means as of tomorrow, 1,301 McDonald's will be open for breakfast – the majority of these restaurants have already reopened for delivery, takeaway or drive-thru.

Not all reopened restaurants will be serving brekkie though, with 28 places not ready just yet.

This is on top of the 92 restaurants that have yet to reopen at all following the coronavirus shutdown – these are mainly sites that are in the middle of refurbishment, or in shopping centres and supermarkets.

It comes as McDonald's is preparing to reopen 55 restaurants tomorrow for takeaway, delivery or drive-thru.

Of these branches, 32 will be serving breakfast – meaning 23 on this list won't be selling McMuffins just yet.

Not all locations will offer each form of ordering, so make sure you use the McDonald's store finder before making the journey.

Home delivery is offered through Uber Eats or Just Eat, depending on your location – just keep in mind you'll need to pay a delivery fee on top of your order.

Maccies addicts were left “heartbroken” when the fast food chain reopened its restaurants without its breakfast choices following the coronavirus virus.

The fast food chain is currently running a reduced brekkie menu, due to having less staff in kitchens at one time.

Fan favourites including McMuffins and hash browns are still available, but there will be no porridge, bagels or breakfast wraps.

As well as adding breakfast, McDonald's also plans on bringing back milkshakes, chicken mayo sandwiches and more to its reduced menu.

Crucially, restaurants remain closed for dine-in orders, with McDonald's confirming today that they WON'T reopen on July 4.

This is despite Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirming that pubs and restaurants can reopen for customers to sit inside from that date.

McDonald's has also officially cancelled its Monopoly game, with the popular promotion not returning until 2021.

McDonald's temporarily shut all 1,350 restaurants on March 23.

As it continues to reopen branches, we've listed all the changes and safety measures customers can expect.

One of these includes Maccies fans being asked to spend no more than £25.
