Netflix Announces Streaming Date for Two-Part 'Sailor Moon Eternal' Film

After a delayed release in Japanese theaters earlier this year, Sailor Moon Eternal is now set to hit Netflix this summer. The streaming platform recently shared a subtitled trailer for the two-part film showcasing the transformation and powers of the Sailor Squad.

Based on the Dream Arc of the Sailor Moon manga by Naoko Takeuchi, the feature film is a direct continuation of Season 4 of the Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. It is also interesting to note that Sailor Moon Eternal is the first film from the franchise to hit theaters in Japan since 1996.

Catch the trailer for Sailor Moon Eternal which will be streamed on Netflix globally come June 3.

For more entertainment news, the WWE recently sold a “multi-episode anime series” to Crunchyroll.
