Porsche Unveils Limited Edition "Boxster 25 Years" Anniversary Model
To commemorate the roadster family’s 25th anniversary, Porsche has manufactured a limited edition car model entitled the “Boxster 25 Years”. This news pops up shortly after ACRONYM and Bisimoto reworked the Porsche 935 to resemble that of the 1970s “Moby Dick” variation.
Underneath the hood, this model’s engine is based off of the GTS 4.0 and comes powered by a 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 294 kW. Some of the most striking details of the this Porsche are the Neodyme finishes — a copper-like shimmering brown — which are applied to that of the side air intakes with a mono bar, front apron, the lettering and the two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels.
To reference the style of the original, the German-based manufacturer crafts the interior with Bordeaux leather interior and matches this up with a fabric convertible top. Top speeds for this anniversary offering amounts to 293 km/h and thanks to its PDK gearbox and standard Sport Chrono package, it goes from from zero to 100 km/h in a lightning-fast four seconds.
Only 1,250 units of this Boxster 25 years were produced worldwide, and it is available to order now. A roll out into dealerships is slated to arrive by the end of March 2021. More information about this stunning piece of machinery can be found here.
For more car news, an upgraded Koenigsegg Regera worth $710,200 USD has been revealed.
