Customers can today claim points on their Sainsbury’s Nectar Card if they log in to the Nectar app. This is a one-off points boost from the supermarket.
All shoppers need to do to redeem their Nectar Card points boost today is to log in to their Nectar account.
They can do this on the Nectar app.
On the app, it says: “A one off points boost. Get more bonus points by saving your regular Sainsbury’s offer before your next shop.”
Customers can click on the “Juicy” points boost promo when they open the app and will instantly receive a random allocation of free Nectar points.
Some customers have received up to 1000 points today for free.
Others claimed up to 250, while some shoppers were allocated 400 points.
If you cannot see the offer on the app, you may need to update it.
The Nectar app is available to download on the Apple app store and Google Play.

You can opt into weekly offers and make sure you always get the best deals quickly and easily.
The Nectar family is made up of over 400 brands, including Argos, Esso, eBay, and more.
In the latest version of the app, users can view their connected accounts with Nectar’s partner brands, so that they can keep track of their balance and spending.
Sainsbury’s also has a Groceries app, which lets customers shop on the go from any device.
The app allows shoppers to browse and search for products and see all the supermarket’s special offers.
It also enables customers to make changes to their orders.
The app has been installed from Google Play over a million times.
In other Sainsbury’s news, the food retailer is the only UK supermarket to have launched a new Kopparberg cider flavour.
The brand-new flavour was introduced to stores on February 14.
Fans of the refreshing alcoholic beverage can for the first time buy a can or bottle of Kopparberg Passionfruit & Orange cider.
Kopparberg Head of Marketing, Rob Salvesen, said: “The brand is always looking for new ways to keep ahead of the curve and react to emerging trends and consumer demand, whilst also being trendsetters in the industry.”
