Stacey Solomon apologises to fans as she returns to Instagram after short break
Stacey Solomon has marked her return to Instagram by posting a short apology to fans.
The former X Factor star turned Loose Women panelist logged into her official page before updating her story.
Alongside a snap of a cup of tea against a snowy backdrop, Stacey, 31, wrote: "I'm sorry I have been so quiet recently.
"Rex has been waking up 2/3 times a night for some reason and it's killed me if I'm being honest.
"But this snow has given me life and woken me right up."
In November, Stacey confirmed she was planning on spending time away from the digital world.
Despite being one of the UK's best-loved stars, Stacey admitted she isn't always confident sharing her life.
Posting to her four million fans, she wrote: "Going to put my phone away today because… I'm 99.9% sure it's hormonal but I'm having one of those days where I feel embarrassed.
"Do you ever just feel embarrassed of yourself? Or like everything you say/think is annoying?

"Then the voice in your head is like 'oh my g-d you're so cringe.' Well I'm having one of those days.
"I know I'm so lucky. And my ridiculous meaningless confidence crisis is NOTHING on the scale of what people are going through right now. So please ignore me.

Since then, Stacey has been active only for specific occasions online.
On December 26 she stunned fans by revealing her partner, EastEnders actor Joe Swash has proposed to her.
The overjoyed singer showed off her ring before gushing: "My hand is still shaking and every time I touch something and look down I remember and cry."
The mum-of-three added: "It's been the weirdest day ever. Thank you so much for all your lovely messages."
Stacey and Joe live with their 19-month-old son Rex, and her sons Zach, 12, and Leighton, eight, from a previous relationship.
